Love the shoe , I’ve lifted in them. Rope climbed the shoes holds up to anything flown at it

Very pleased w/ these Training Spezials! They fit great and feel great. While you may have the iconic look of wearing Sambas the feel is very much different. Being that its designed as a trainer shoe you can instantly feel the support all around the foot and to top it off the toebox area fits like a trainer shoe—more room, NOT like the narrowness of an actual Samba. I def recommend these shoes, whether for training in or for look...or both!
