How you clean school shoes will depend somewhat on what they’re made of and you should always check the care instructions. Some shoes, particularly canvas shoes can be put in the washing machine occasionally to freshen them up. Other footwear, such as leather shoes, should be cleaned more carefully with a damp cloth and toothbrush.
