To find their size, you’ll need to take three measurements, which you can then compare to our convenient size calculator. Measure their chest by wrapping a tape measure around the widest part of their chest. You can take their waist and hip measurements by wrapping the tape around where their waist is narrowest, and the widest part of the hip.

Darning a hole is quite simple, using just a needle and thread. First pass the thread (preferably the same colour as the sweatshirt) through the eye of the needle and then either tie it in a knot or hold it tight so it doesn’t fall out. Turn the school sweatshirt inside out, then begin stitching by pushing the needle in and out of the fabric around the hole in one direction then the next, through the initial stitches. Keep going until you have formed a grid-like pattern over the hole.
